ORYXIS HILLS™
A vision for Namibia's sovereign technology estate, where energy, compute and systems operate as one.
From participation to operational authority in the digital era.
Namibia has the sun, the wind and the cables. ORYXIS HILLS is our vision for the infrastructure that turns them into technology the country holds itself: compute and generation at its core, with places to work, learn, stay and meet around it.

The estate
The estate from above: districts arranged in a ring around a central core, so every part sits a short walk from the compute and energy at its heart.
Concept renders. They show character and scale, not final designs or confirmed sites.
One day on the estate.
A compute campus draws the same load day and night. The sun does not. Drag through today, hour by hour, to see how the estate is designed to share the work between generation, storage and firm supply.
Illustrative. Shares of the campus load at the selected hour; surplus as a share of generation. A design study, not operating data.
Compute that Namibia holds.
At the heart of the estate, the vision is a compute campus for AI and cloud workloads from around the world, with a sovereign zone for national data under Namibian control, and generation of its own beside it. Surplus power would serve the national grid.
A state-of-the-art campus, built to international standard.
By 2036, in phases, each one contracted before it is built.
National data held on the campus and mirrored to a second site in Windhoek.
Coast to capital.
Four places on one spine: the road, the railway, the national grid and the fibre. Each would carry the function it is best placed for: the Innovation Hub where the cables land, generation and compute inland, and the ORYXIS HILLS estate at the capital.
Infrastructure brings people.
What the estate earns is designed to flow into the people who will build on it.
Namibia's first science and technology park.
An accelerator, a founder village where startups live and work, a sovereign AI lab, and a living lab where new technology is tested in real conditions.
Formed with Transfigured Academy™.
Young Namibians trained for the work the estate creates, from operations to engineering.
Capital for founders.
Investment in startups that complete the accelerator and build on ORYXON compute.
A national dividend, designed in from the start.
A share of what compute and generation earn would flow to the Trust, funding the hub, the fund and the communities of the corridor.
Earned in Namibia, kept in Namibia.
Ownership of the infrastructure through which the digital economy runs, not only participation in it. A destination too: a place where visitors can watch new technology being tested and proven in the open.
Built in phases.
Each phase begins when the one before it holds. Dates are indicative.
- 2029–31First phase switched on, sovereign zone live
- 2036Ambition of 300 MW
- 2040Next horizon
- 2050Long horizon
ORYXIS HILLS is a vision in preparation. Capacities, dates and designs may change.
